¹⁴ But without your consent I wanted to do nothing, in order that your good deed should not be as-if based-on^[a] compulsion^[b], but based-on willingness^[c]. ¹⁵ For perhaps for this reason he was separated for an hour: in order that you might receive him in full forever, ¹⁶ no longer as a slave, but beyond a slave, a beloved brother— especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord!
